In 2012, the fifth annual Clean Tech Media Award will take place and EIGHT is one of the nominees for its solar charging station Point.One. Once again this year, many exciting and visionary projects have entered the competition for Germany’s environmental and media prize in various different categories. EIGHT is in the running for the award for best innovation in the area of mobility.

An independent jury of experts nominates two projects per category. The public can vote online to nominate a further project in each category until 18 May, which then automatically goes into the next round of the competition for the Clean Tech Media Award 2012. At the awards the ceremony on 7 September 2012 in Berlin, two well-known experts from the media, business and science sectors will reveal the winner and hand over the coveted award. The patron of the Clean Tech Media Award 2012 is Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Federal Minister for Transport, Building and Urban Development.
